When did you first start training?
First started weight training in 2015, and fell in love with the way I could transform my body. After completing two 12 week challenges with great results I decided I wanted to push myself further and started looking into competing.
How long have you been competing for?
This is my first year of competing, I signed up with my coach Jake Abel with my first day of prep being new years day we had exactly 9weeks until my first show (Rookies) after rookies we continued with another 9wks of prep to get to Melbourne’s, after a successful Season A, we decided to continue with Season B and go for States, Nationals and Natlympia.
What do you like most about competing?
I love the challenge of pushing myself and having a goal in place, I really enjoy prep and the process. I love the feeling of stepping on stage and being able to show off all my hard work, as well all the amazing people I have met along the way, everyone is so supportive of each other it’s a fantastic community.
Why do you choose to be a natural athlete?
For me being a natural athlete is important I want to show that through hard work dedication and consistency you can transform your body and with the right training, nutrition and mindset you can achieve fantastic results. I chose to compete within a natural federation among other athletes who hold the same values to their health and training as I do.
What is your number one piece of advice?
Have fun and stick to your plan, its 100% training, 100% nutrition 100% dedication. You need to give it your all, and you need to love it, if you don’t love it and you don’t have fun then its going to be a long and slow prep, when you have fun and enjoy it that’s when you shine on stage.
